We are getting very close to having the house done. The carpet and hardwood floors are in, the hardware on the doors is on, and my favorite part the plantation shutters are on the windows. I can't wait to move and decorate. I'll make sure to post pictures of it all done.

House Update
The house is getting close to being done and it's looking great. They have the outside railings done, all light fixtures in, cabinets and counter tops, the fireplace is done, and plumbing fixtures in. We still have carpet to put in, stain the hardwood floor, paint the front door, touch up paint, put in appliances, window coverings (plantation shutters), and finish trim work. I am working on finding great mirrors for the bathrooms and will put hardware on all cabinets. The house should be done and able to close by the end of the month. All this and have I started packing my current home up? Nope. I might want to get going on that but the motivation is hard to find. I'll make sure to post pictures of the final product.

Healthy Eating
Yeah so this is my traditional lunch on Wednesdays when I'm in the office. Hot dog, 100 calorie Baked Cheetos, apple, Almond Joy, and a Dr. Pepper. So you have to realize that growing up my dad would take me to the gas station to get a hot dog and Slurpee or a soda. Maverick's and 7 11's. Not the healthiest thing in the world but for some reason gas stations have the best hot dogs and so does the snack bar at my work. They also have the best Dr. Pepper ever, it must be the syrup ratio they use. Silly but oh so yummy.

Post Christmas
We again had a non stop fun filled 'Trace Day' on Saturday. This would include the entire family having a ski day at Snowbird (9-3), then back up to Heber for Tubing at 6. The skiing was great with awesome snow and decent weather. This is quite the crew when you get them all together. I love watching Brian skiing he is so fun and smooth. You have to understand that Brian's entire family are unbelievable skiers, so coming in to this family meant that you would learn to ski well. I'm still working on it but love seeing any of them ski. TJ, Micall's husband has only skied once or twice so it's been fun getting him in the groove and he's improved sooo much in just one day. Thanks for a great weekend Trace and Deb! By the way, I'm wearing my Christmas present, an awesome green North Face down coat.

That little green dot in the tube is Finley. She fit perfect into the big tubes.
Finley is helping pull her own tube.
We found a tube just Fin's size.
She loved tubing and playing in the snow.
Christmas Continued
So yeah not a typical Christmas for Finley. She got a full on motorcycle with training wheels!! Really? It is the cutest thing ever and I can't wait till summer and she'll be big enough to ride it. Grandpa Steve couldn't wait to give it to her. Just because it is a little bike doesn't mean it is quiet. It's a little thumper. Actually I don't know who will enjoy it more, Finley or the rest of us. I guess my dad wanted to keep the tradition going (had one and a mini fourwheeler when I was her age). Oh and I forgot that grandpa is getting matching stickers for it so it will match his bike.
Proud Grandpa Steve
Check out the 'training wheels.'
Christmas was so much fun this year and Finley loved helping everyone open gifts. She just stared at you and said 'ooohhh' and 'wowww.' We got great gifts from both families and want to thank them both! Finley and her cousin Stella got matching rocking horses from Grandma and Grandpa Tolbert. They loved them and Finley calls hers May May's Nay Nay.
Luczak Christmas Party
For the first time ever we had our family Christmas party at my parents house. It was so nice to have everyone there. We did miss cousin Stan who is over seas serving his country. We hope is doing well and staying safe. Everyone else was there and it was a great time. Santa doesn't come to this party but we do all exchange gifts and have a big dinner.
The 18 foot tall Christmas tree, it literally touched the ceiling.
And mom the decorations looked great!
Tucker just hanging out and watching a Christmas show.
They love the chairs their size.
Finley and Wesley just being cute.
Finley is 'big' enough to eat at the kids table!
Cousin Emily and Finley
Um hello? Will you look at this cake. Yes I said cake. My cousin Georgeanne made it. The arms were too heavy to stay on but it is darling non the less and it was so delicious!
Tolbert Family Party
This year we had the Tolbert Family Christmas party on Tuesday. It is always fun to get with everyone and have Santa Clause come. For our gifts from grandma Beth this year she made ALL of us, boys girls and kids, aprons. They were great and the little girls look darling in theirs!
Here are the men in the BBQ Boss aprons.
So this picture has a funny story with it. At Thanksgiving down in St. George the boys had a skeet shooting contest. Brian, being the stud he is, won three rounds in a row. Grandpa Stan had surprised us all when he pulled this trophy out of a bag. He had made this for Brian and it will now become a yearly tradition between the boys to see who can win it. Way to go Stan, it's great!
Finley was so excited to get this baby doll bed from Santa.
For some reason Fin isn't a big fan of Santa in person, but she likes the idea of getting toys from him.
Christmas party #1 down and what a great time it was!
