How the Years Change Us

It's amazing how much we can change in a year's time. Finley no longer looks like a baby, she's an official toddler. I can't believe how much hair she has now either.  Easter was once again a great day, lots of candy, food, and great company.

Last year matching dresses were provided by my father in law, and yet somehow, this year my sister in law and I managed to by the SAME Dress for our girls. These were purchased at two different times, and two different stores without even knowing the other had bought it. I guess they say great minds think alike.

So Many Postings

Sorry for the overloading of postings, but I figured I'd catch up on all that has happened in the last couple weeks.

Easter 1

While we were in St. George Grandma Beth did a cute little Easter hunt for the girls. Finley thought it was fun to find little treats around the yard. She got a book, treats, stuffed duck, and a cute little dress. Thank you Grandma Beth!

St. George was so much fun this weekend even with having cold wet weather half the time. It's so fun watching Finley and Stella playing together and teaching each other new things.

 I found the matching umbrella to Fin's rain coat and boots and couldn't resist. She loves it!

Cholla Challenge

This last weekend Brian had his second bike race of the season. The Cholla Challenge in Hurricane. The team looked really good in their new kits and hot Scott bikes. Bri felt really strong and did well despite the fact that his crank kept coming loose and having to stop and tighten it. The team did well and is strong. Good job boys.

Come on, It's April

This is what I found going into work last week. We have gotten 150 inches of snow in the last two weeks at Snowbird. Come on! I know we need it but I'm so ready for Spring. I think we might be skiing in July again. 

Birthday Part 2

Finley's birthday party was so much fun. We had our friends and family over for some enchilada soup, cake & ice cream. I was so excited to make these really cute ice cream cone cupcakes for her party. Well at 2 in the afternoon as I was making them, they didn't cook like they did in the practice run two da

ys before. So therefore I was 2 hours out from the party and didn't have a cake. I quickly called my mom and she was able to bring a cake and save the day. Thanks mom! Finley had lots of fun with opening gifts and playing with the toys. I still can't believe that she is 2. My little girl is growing up.

Finley got lots of fun toys and cute clothes. She is not lacking for things. Thank you to everyone for coming and bringing her a gift!

Finley is kind of funny when all the attention is on her. She was starting to get a little overwhelmed at this point.
