Happy Thanksgiving

For my third Thanksgiving with the Tolbert family we were in St. George (I've never had a Thanksgiving with them that we haven't been in St. George, including the year I met Brian). It always promises a busy, non-stop holiday. We came down on Wednesday night and not much happened. On Thanksgiving day we stayed in the house most of the day due to rainy cold weather. The girls spent the day preparing a dinner for 11 and two babies. The food was of course delicious, and of plenty. As most we sat around the table and all said what we were thankful for. I must say that I am very thankful for my family, close and extended. I'm very blessed to have a job where I get to work from home and spend time with my daughter. Brian is a wonderful husband who is such a great support and love in my life. It was six years ago this week that I met Brian and his family and have loved every moment of it. I'm thankful that my family is healthy and strong. My life has changed since I've been married and I can't imagine it being any different.

Back to Thanksgiving. So after a huge dinner and lots of pie, we went to see the new James Bond movie. Seeing a movie on Thanksgiving is a Tolbert family tradition.

This picture is of Brian and his sister Micall. Now you have to understand that these two have weird bets between each other. After Thanksgiving dinner they Micall bet Brian to eat a whole beet without throwing up, and Brian bet Mic to drink a shot glass full of beet juice. They both HATE beets and so this was amusing. They both endured and nearly threw up after.

Friday came and from the get go the activity was skeet shooting. I'm proud to say that my husband won three times straight in a shooting challenge. After this we went out to eat and came home to play a game, which if I had the video, was so funny to watch. We were once again up until 11pm. Saturday started off with Debbie and I going on a walk with the babies. Tehmi, Trevor, Micall and TJ went golfing, and Trace, Brian, Grandpa Stan, and Hunter went for the 1st bike ride of the day. After we all came back we ALL went for a 13 mile bike ride. Next stop was lunch at In & Out Burger, followed by going home to hang out. Trust me this is a mild few days compared to normal. It has been a great time and I hope that all of you had a nice holiday.
