The 09 Race Season has begun! St. George is usually the first race of the season and the team did pretty good. There were a lot of racers this year, 30 pro, 19 expert 19-29, and 40 10 and under. Brian took 4th and Hunter got 3rd. It's so nice to go down south when the weather is cold up north. We got lucky and the rain storm that was said to hit turned out to be just cooler temperatures and brisk breeze. It was nice to be back with the team after missing all of last season due to Brian's back injury. Even little Finley was welcomed back with open arms. She was so excited to watch all the bikes and cheer papa on as he came by. She liked to say 'Faster Papa Faster.' Good job to the team and we can't wait for Hurricane in two weeks. Ah the sunshine will be nice!

That last picture expresses every feeling I have about bike races. Dirt, sun, and not being able to tell who is who. To think I encourage my own husband to join in the fun. What am I thinking?!
