These past few days made a very nice weekend! It started off with Friday being our 7th anniversary. Brian and I took the girls to my mom's for Friday and Saturday and were able to go to Happy Sumo for dinner and a movie after. We also ran a bunch of errands that are easier to do without kids. We've decided that we are old when the highlight of the night was being able to each take Tylenol PM's and go to bed at 11:30. Haha. On Saturday as part of my anniversary / mother's day present I got a to go to the Spa for a few hours. After a body scrub, steam room, massage, facial, and pedicure I was ready to
take on the world. It was SO relaxing and I'm not going to lie, I could handle doing that more often (right, if my budget allowed it). Brian spent the morning playing golf. We picked up the girls later that day and just spent the night at home eating pizza and watching Supercross. My sweet girls and husband gave me some beautiful Tulips for Mother's Day. The girls also gave me a little something (picture will explain better). On Sunday we went to Zermatt for brunch with my family. Oh the food was so delicious! The weather was gorgeous so we walked around outside for an hour and just enjoyed the sunshine. Later that day we went to my in laws for a BBQ. It was fun to spend the day with both families. I love my mom so much and am very grateful for all that she has done for me and my family! Now having kids I understand the never ending worrying of a mom, the sacrifices they make and just trying to keep the family together (on top of all the other jobs they have to do). I'm also very grateful for my mother in law. I'm so lucky that I married into a great family. I love my little girls and my husband and feel very blessed to have them in my life!
